Over the next few days we will be making some significant changes to the relationships endpoint in order to improve performance. We have currently stopped ingestion of new relationships and in the coming 24 hours will remove all data from the endpoint before reingesting it. The process is expected to last until the end of this week (up to 25 February 2024).
These changes will mean that the most common queries are significantly faster and puts us in a better position to optimise for a broader range of queries in the future.
The dataset available via the relationships beta endpoint will continue to be from 1 January 2024. A snapshot of data citations for previous years is available on request, please contact mrittman@crossref.org for access.
